Q: How did you lose all of the weight so far?
A: Diet and exercise. There is no other way and this is the only way that I know how!!
Q: Example: I am (insert height here) and (insert weight here)..is this healthy or should I lose weight?
A: I am not a doctor. Please do not ask me these questions, I will just ignore them. I can not tell you if your height or weight is healthy, because I do not know, sorry.
Q: I want to eat healthy like you. What should I eat?
A: I recommend lots and lots of vegetables. Protein is also very important. You should have protein with every meal. Whether it’s a protein shake, eggs, chicken or other meats with high protein. I also don’t eat a lot of carbs, I cut out bread, wraps, flat bread, pasta and anything else from my diet that has more than 10g of carbs in one serving. My daily intake of carbs is 30 - 60g of carbs.
Q: How many glasses of water should I drink?
A: I usually drink 12 - 14 glasses of water a day. But the average person trying to lose weight should drink 8- 10 glasses of water a day.
Q: What do you do for exercise?
A: I work out with my personal trainer once per week. I usually try to work out 5 times on my own as well. If I work out on my own, I do weight training, and 3 times per week I have cardio days where I am usually on the treadmill for one hour doing intervals or jogging. Bicep curls, chest flies, squats, sumo squats, walking lunges, lunges, ab work outs including sit ups, scissors, kick ups, crunches, and many more things are just examples of exercises I would do in my work outs.

Q: How often do you eat? How many calories do you eat? What is an example day for you?
I eat 3 meals a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner, and 2 snacks. I usually eat anywhere from 1200 - 1500 calories. I only eat 30 - 50g of carbs per day as well. An example day for me would be:
Breakfast: 2 pieces of turkey bacon and scrambled egg whites.
Lunch: chicken salad with cheese(2 days per week), cucumbers, carrots, and 2 tbsp low carb dressing.
Dinner: fish with a small salad and stir fried veggies
Snack #1: 1/4 cup almonds
Snack #2: apples and natural peanut butter.
Q: How much does a personal trainer cost?
A: Mine costs about $140 per month, taxes and everything included. But I only see her once per week. Some cost $500 - $1000 per month. Some are around that range, or more expensive depending on where you go. Some trainers can cost up to $5000 to $10,000 a year. Research trainers in your area.
Q: Do you know any websites that have healthy recipes?
A: http://sparkrecipes.com/ is the best one I have found so far!
Q: What motivated you to start losing weight?
A:The last few years, I have become more and more depressed and I think it is because of my weight. I do not truly love myself yet, and to be happy with who I am, I needed to start this journey. It is something I need to do to be happy. I know I am overweight, but I am doing something to change that, and I am so proud of myself. I am doing this for me and my health!
Q:How can I stay motivated to stick with my healthy lifestyle change?
A:Personally, I think if you really want to reach your goals, you will do anything to get there. I was ready to lose weight, but some people are not. If you are ready, you will try your hardest to get to your goals. It’s a slow process, but the end results are more amazing than you will ever know.
