update!! 14/04/13

weighing myself this wednesday with the original scale I’ve ever stepped on! I’m hoping and praying I’m back down to 220…its where I was before Christmas, before the mistakes, before the set backs..I really hope I’m there again..I’ve been trying so hard..I haven’t binged in 11 days..I’ve been eating perfectly, working out almost twice a day..I really hope all my hard work pays off. I will let you all know my weight soon!

Over this past year, I have made so many changes for the better that my body definitely thanks me for. Before, (my boyfriends plate of pasta) I would eat about 100g of carbs or more in one sitting, full of starch. After, salad and spaghetti squash instead of pasta. Healthy choices are part of my life now, it’s just whether or not I decide to make them. (And trust me, I do!)

One Year Ago Today…Jenna Smith Changed Her Life….

The girl in the photos, that was me. She ate 2500 calories per day, McDonalds 5 times per week, and cried every night because she never thought anyone would love her and she never thought she could change herself. She was depressed all of the time, she cried, and then she ate because she was sad. She always got into fights with everyone because she wanted to bring them down to her level of sadness. She was mad at the world, and she had no idea that Christina Taylor(personal trainer) was going to change her life. Last February 20th, she stood on a scale for the first time in a while. The number staring back at her was 340 lbs. She vowed to herself and her trainer, that number would go down, no matter what it would take. That day, she trained. She hurt the next day more than she had ever hurt before, but she continued to train, week after week, and the pounds were slowly coming off. She lost weight, lost body fat, lost inches, lost dress sizes, and she was becoming happier everyday. In the summer of 2012, she met an amazing boy who loves her for everything that she is and she’s never met someone like that before. She has gone on plane rides without having to use the extender, and she fits into a size 14 jeans. At Christmas, she fit into her goal dress that she had been waiting to wear for months.

Today, that girl has completely changed her life. She went from couch potato to fitness fanatic. She loves eating healthy and she is working towards the body she’s always dreamed of having. That girl was me. Everybody, meet the girl that I am now. I’ve changed my life and I love every minute of it. One year ago today..I took a stand and wasn’t going to let my weight hold me back anymore…what can you do today that will make you proud in one year?

Thank you everyone for the ongoing support and love. I love all of you, you have been amazing friends, followers, and supporters. xoxoxo

I had a good dinner tonight. It was really yummy.

2 carrots + 1 cucumber

1 tbsp cream cheese

2 tbsp salsa

1 chicken breast

I shredded the carrot and cucumber into strands, and fried it in a pan. Then melted in cream cheese, and added the salsa, to make a sauce, really yummy!

It tasted like a crunchy pasta lol. And the chicken was yummy too. I loved it :)
